Way of the River
As a River Walker, you spend five days exploring five relationships: with yourself, someone close to you, a group, the living world, and the mystery of life.
There are three ways to experience the Wild School. Each programme is of a different length and offers a different opportunity to explore, experiment, and learn. The goal of the programmes remains the same, aligning purpose and action, but their intensity and pace varies. The river is impetuous and with well defined banks. The forest grows strong through time of its many different trees. And the mountain invites its walker into a committed transition from one valley to the other.

Over a year and a half, Forest Walkers return to the School for five residential encounters combining collective inquiry, experience and practical challenges. Each return to the School ends in a quest that Forest Walkers are invited to take, either on their own or with others in their group.
Mountain Walkers bring something they'd like to work on during their time at the School: a piece of art, a book, a research project, an experiment, or a question they'd like to give more time to.
